Affiliate disclosure
Effective date: 17 September 2026
Veroworks is paid to link to one game. This page explains what that payment is, who makes it, what it is paid for, and — the part that matters most when reading anything on this site — what it does and does not influence.
The arrangement, stated plainly
Veroworks, published by MV Ouběnická stavební s.r.o., takes part in the affiliate program for the game Raid: Shadow Legends. Links on this site that point to that game are affiliate links. When a reader follows one of them, registers on the game's own landing page, installs the game and starts the opening tutorial, the affiliate program pays this publisher a fixed commission for that completed action.
Three things follow, and all three are worth being explicit about:
- The payment comes from the program, not from you. Nothing you do on this site costs money, and following an affiliate link does not add a charge to anything you later buy.
- The offer is identical either way. The game you reach through a link here is the same game, on the same terms, with the same contents and the same prices, as the one you would reach by typing the publisher's address directly.
- The commission is paid on an action, not on a sale. It is triggered by registration, installation and starting the tutorial — not by you spending money in the game. This site earns nothing from anything you spend afterwards, which is why nothing here encourages spending.
What the commission influences
It would be dishonest to claim the commercial relationship influences nothing, so here is what it genuinely determines:
It determines the category. This site covers battle collection RPGs because that is the genre containing the product it is paid to link to. Without the affiliate arrangement, Veroworks would not exist.
It determines which single product has a page of its own. One title is described here in detail — the one behind the arrangement. That page is labelled as what it is, both at the top and beside the link at the bottom.
What the commission does not influence
It does not decide what the general entries say. The pages on randomised rewards, energy economies and team building describe those systems as they are, including the parts that might lead a reader to conclude the genre is not worth their time or money. Those pages were not softened, and they are not adjusted according to what converts.
It does not produce ratings or rankings. There are none anywhere on this site. No score, no tier list, no "best of" list in which a paid product sits alongside unpaid ones. A ranking built on a single commercial relationship would be advertising wearing the clothes of a comparison.
It does not create claims about the product. The description of the game on this site is limited to what its publisher states about it. Where the publisher is silent — price, odds, system requirements, classification — this site is silent too, and says where to look instead.
It does not change what happens if you follow a link. There is no tracking on this site, no redirect through this domain, and no script that alters where a link goes. Every affiliate link on Veroworks points at the program's address directly, which you can see in your browser's status bar before you click and in the address bar afterwards.
How affiliate links are marked
Every affiliate link on this site carries a note immediately next to it saying it is paid and what triggers the payment. None appear in the middle of a sentence, none are disguised as ordinary reference links, and none are placed where a reader could follow one without having seen the disclosure first. In the page markup they carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and open in a new tab, which is the standard technical signal that a link is paid.
Links to Australian government bodies — the Classification Board, the ACCC, Scamwatch, the eSafety Commissioner, the Australian Cyber Security Centre and the OAIC — are not affiliate links and pay this site nothing. They are there because they are the correct source for what they cover.
Why disclose it this prominently
Partly because Australian Consumer Law requires that commercial relationships behind content not be concealed, and misleading conduct is enforceable against the publisher. Mostly because a reference is only useful if you can calibrate it, and you cannot calibrate this one without knowing who pays for it. A disclosure buried in small print protects the publisher; a disclosure you meet before the link protects the reader.
